How to Set Up

1

Go to Integrations

In Voicerix, navigate to Integrations and click Add configuration.
2

Choose your provider

Select your telephony provider from the list and enter your credentials. See the provider-specific pages above for exactly what you need.
3

Add a phone number

After saving the configuration, open it and add at least one phone number (E.164 format, e.g. +1234567890). This is the number your agent calls from or receives calls on.
4

Set default outbound (optional)

Mark one configuration as Default Outbound so it is used automatically for test calls and campaigns.
5

Enable inbound (optional)

To receive inbound calls, assign an Inbound workflow to a phone number. Voicerix will automatically push the webhook URL to your provider. See Inbound Calling for details.

What you can do

  • Outbound calls β€” your agent calls contacts from a campaign or test
  • Inbound calls β€” your number receives calls and routes them to the right agent
  • Multiple configurations β€” add separate configurations for different sub-accounts or providers
  • Multiple phone numbers β€” each configuration can hold multiple numbers

Inbound Calling

For inbound calls, Voicerix uses a single org-wide webhook URL. When you assign an inbound workflow to a phone number, Voicerix automatically pushes this URL to your provider β€” you don’t need to set it manually in most cases. See Inbound Calling for the full setup guide and per-provider instructions.

Troubleshooting

  • Verify credentials are correct in your Voicerix configuration
  • Check that phone numbers are in E.164 format with country code (e.g. +1234567890)
  • Ensure webhook URLs are publicly accessible
  • Review your provider’s error logs
  • Check network bandwidth and latency
  • Verify audio codec compatibility with your provider
  • Review WebSocket connection stability
  • Confirm credentials (Auth Token / API Key / Private Key) match exactly between Voicerix and your provider
  • Verify the webhook URL is set correctly on the provider side
  • Check for proxy or load balancer request modifications
